The Florida man is on the loose and headed to the mountains. Uber ride at 4:30. Driver was annoyed he had to put the seats down for the Sportube with the skis. He was rockin the techno hard though on the drive.

Thankfully got a direct flight and should be in CO by 10. Trying to make it to the mountain before they close and at least get a couple of turns in today.

dropping that morning deuce atm, nothing worse than having to shit on a plane. Was talking about meeting up with a few of you and getting some laps together. I’ll shoot you peeps some dm’s. If anyone else is interested in a meet up hit me up and let’s see if we can connect.

like my trip threads in the past I’ll keep you all updated with details and pics along the way. Follow if you’d like, don’t if you’re not interested. Either way I’m just stoked to get back to the mountains and into some legit snow.

I was at BC yesterday. Great conditions. Not that crowded either. The bus to the lots, however, was another story.

Thankfully got the same room as last year. Love this fucking view. Downside they removed the grills from the balcony. So now we have to go out every night for dinner. Not happy about that part. Loved cooking in the room.

Stopped by evo. You know I had to peep what moments they had in stock. Love the frankenski so much. Also really digging the Countach 104 a lot. Also checked out the phanoms. Pretty slick in person. Really nice boot. No armadas. And “supposedly they had Cortex double boa but they wouldn’t show me because they’re “not allowed yet”

Got that Tesla rental for the trip. We have free Tesla chargers at the hotel. So absolutely no fuel costs for the trip. Can’t beat that.

What dispensary is that? Check out fired cannabis on 6th next time. Has really good prices. I think that’s partly because it gets less tourist traffic

i remember a long time ago when i had only skied colorado and you were shitting on the terrain being mellow and i was defending co and summit county for having some good big mountain stuff. then i went to kirkwood and the cottonwood canyons, etc and i saw people huck backflips off 20’ cliffs under the lift and i was like oh okay yeah CO has some spots but def mellower than this.

so you were right like 14 years ago. my b.

Colorado still has some pretty gnarly shit but yeah, it’s not going to be right there on the front of the resort most of the time. Most of our bowls are pretty mellow tbh. I think Colorado gnar shines in some steep tech trees.

lol I actually think I remember that.

Colorado has plenty of really fun skiing, lets be real going skiing at all is fun. but the extreme terrain is limited compared to other areas in the west, the mountains are tall as fuck but they're so flat. I have a special hatred for breckenridge so I take any chance I can to shit on that place.

Got my lunch, Some beers, camel back with water, some snacks for the lift rides, some ski shit. I hate loading up my pockets with crap. Backpack just makes life easier.

All those runs to the left are all double blacks. The main resort you can’t see it’s behind the hill to the right. I’m in Avon so I can see beaver directly. I have the bachelors gulch part closer to me on the right

Started off cold and gloomy. Now it’s cold and sunny. Snow is pretty firm atm everywhere. Found a few stashes of soft fresh. The Countach hold a good edge in the firm. They float really well in the soft deeper stuff. Tips keep disappearing and am waiting for that submarine feeling but they just plane up. The wide ass shovel really helps a lot. Lunch time now
