They flex like a dream, and break in nicely. Icelantic > K2 on all fronts.

They are fairly soft. The tip has a lot of rocker to it, and you can put deep bends in them, but they are not floppy like a reckoner, or blend, more rebound.

I don't think they changed the ski much. I have the 20/21s, and they used to be kinda stiff. Once they broke in, they got a ton of tip and tail rocker, and at 140 lbs, I can flex the fuck out of them. Also, I used to race growing up, and they carve so well. I sold my carving skis because they are such a one-ski solution. Honestly, the best skis I ever bought. They are well worth the money.
