ScootSkiLyfeBrother if you think line chronics feel like 2x4s I'm not sure you will like either of those skis, especially not the Jeff's in a 191. Those are going to be way burlier than the chronic.
If you are set on ON3Ps (which I get, they are a solid and reputable brand), I would recommend the mango 100s over the Jeff's.
I have skied the magnus 90s, mango 90s, Kartel 108s (Jeff's), and magnus102s. The only one of those skis I found "soft" was the magnus/mango 90s but even those are a lot more ski than something like a Vishnu wet or wide.
jimbobsWe're the same height and weight. Jeffs are not soft. They're very rockered and moderately stiff. 189 Wide Plus would be a great option as they're flexier while still being usable for people our size, 186 Mangos would also probably work I just haven't ridden those. I prefer my 189 wide plus in the park to my 191 jeffs. Especially at small mtns.
jumpman101I too have skied and have a mango 90 the old filthy rich which is super soft. I have the magnus 102 which is semi soft but a touch stiffer than my mango 90. I have a 98 kartel which is a Jeffery that was my go too but I like the stiffness of that ski and still ski it to this day no edge cracks yet and put that ski through its paces. I have the new Jeff 100 custom with the stiffer flex and that ski is for sure something I wish I went stock but I’m in between sizes and sized up to the 186. The 108 I have in the 186 stock is nice but definitely not soft. You can go with a moment frankenski which is soft an Icelantic nomad jskis all play or vacation or like said above Vishnu wides or wets. The price point on the wides and wets are on point for sure great soft ski that a lot of park riders gravitate to. Got a couple of friends who love there wides and can really flex that ski. Durability of the Vishnu is also top quality.

PartyBullshiitDurability is very good. They’re on par with on3p being hand built. They’re the largest ski manufacturer in The US. Make all their skis in Reno. They’re considered more higher end of the scale and are priced as much. Like any ski they’re not bulletproof to abuse but they’re going to take a fair more beating without major damage. They’re solid with their warranty too. If something odd happens they’ll typically stand behind the product and replace it. They also offer free mounting, waxing, tuning and repairs for the life of the ski.
