BallClapperModern skis are pretty good. Hard to go horribly wrong.
Boston_SkierI had the ARV 94's for a few seasons on the east coast (Killington) and really liked them for pretty much everything you are describing. Handled well on ice, fun on rails/jumps and even used them during some pretty good storms. Can't speak for the other skis you mentioned but you really can't go wrong.
Chris.BThe 176 Ar7's I've been skiing for over a decade are pretty much destroyed and I'm looking to finally replace them. I ski on the east coast, a mix of small rails/jumps and icy trails. I've been thinking about getting 181 arv 88's, 188 frankenski's or maybe the 175 j ski joyride, but I'm interested to hear what else might be a good option.
PartyBullshiitIf you’re skiing a 176 and looking at 181’s and 175’s in the other skis why are you jumping to the 188 frank and not the 182?
Chris.BIf the joyride 182 wasn't sold out I'd go with that over the 175. I'm not sure which frank would be a better fit for me, the 188 is closer to my height but since I've been skiing 176's for so long maybe I should be looking at the 182's instead
