Toilet training my cat

Has anyone sucessfully toilet trained their cat? He's using a litter box next to the toilet now. I just ordered the original Kitty's Loo cat potty trainer on amazon, it came very highly recommended. Was going to follow the directions and see how it goes.

Litter boxes are the sole reason I'll never have another indoor cat. Hope this works.

Dude they literally just shit outside or in a litterbox. Or just rub turds into your carpet/rugs. Still love them lil weird fuckers though.

I have a friend who did this. An unintended side effect is that the cat goes apeshit and demands that he watches every time. Since he trained the cat to use the toilet with rewards, it demands that reward every single time it uses the toilet. The cat will even wake him up in the middle of the night to demand his audience using the toilet.

This. My mom had a cat that would watch her go to the toilet and one day the cat decided to do the same. Good luck!
