FruitBootProTrue center is overrated. A lot of pros go -1 or -2 from center on their park setups. These skis are designed wholly for park/jibbing and recommended is what Henrik rides (I assume). You have no reason to not go recommended
EDIT: Apparently, recommended is -2.5 from center, so anywhere between there and center is probably fine.

Jimmer369Pretty much completely false. I’ve talked to many pros and they’re all center mounted. Also the reason to be -1 to -3 back is for all mountain versatility.
So why the fuck would a pro mount that far back when they 1. Need a dedicated center mount Park ski for competition 2. They get free skis anyway so if they want to do all mountain/powder they’d have a dedicated ski for that.

ASSholebomber22You know the recommended mounting points are just center of the sidecut right? the center of the sidecut is behind true center of the ski. It's not 1998 anymore people aren't going super far forward from recommended on their mounts to ski switch
Jimmer369Yea I’m aware of that; if you wanna re-read and try to comprehend what I said in my previous comment feel free to do so.
Literally all I said is every pro I’ve talked to (on armada and line’s pro team) is center mounted on their park skis even though the recommended is -2 to -3 on even the ARV/Edollo and TW Pros/Chronic.
center mounting isn’t “overrated”; if the top athletes competing for money are center mounting, it’s for a good reason.
It’s also not just for skiing switch, it’s a better balance for rails and spinning rotations on jumps.

ASSholebomber22Sure man
Jimmer369Classic response when someone realizes theyre wrong lol
ZenyattaKickI mount mine true center, honestly the difference in 5cm isn’t a lot in the grand scheme of things, but true center would make it easier to do switch tricks, maybe look up a video on benefits of mounting true center.
Jimmer369Correction: you’re not at the skill level where you’d be able to notice the difference between 0-5cm back from center. Which is perfectly fine, everyone is at a different skill level. But let’s not spread misinformation here.
