Replying to Line Pandora 106 - intermediate stuck between sizes

Hanflolo:
Hey guys,

I am reading in this forum for a while but now it's time that I have a personal question.
I want to buy the new Line Pandora 106 in either size 176cm or 184cm but I am really quite stuck between sizes. What are your thoughts here?

I am an intermdiate skier. I feel very comfortable on groomed snow and can get down any piste but just starting out to explore more offpiste terrain. I am 181cm tall and weigh around 165lbs, I am very athletic and did all kinds of sports my whole life (I can still squat like 350lbs if that matters in any way). My skiing ability is okay but I just started out skiing last season because I snowboarded my whole life. Just getting more into more off piste terrain but don't feel super comfortable there.

I was on a Faction Prodigy 2.0 in a size 177cm last year but lost my skis last weekend so I am in for new ones. I am struggling if I should get the Pandora 106 in 176cm or 184cm. I am not straightlining a lot and max hit speeds around 50mph on a good day. I do like to think that I want to make skiing look good and play with the terrain. We do not have loads of powder where I ski in Europe but don't want to miss out on a few powder days a year.

Will I regret buying the 176cm Skis as soon as I progress more and should I go for the 184cm or will that hinder my progression? I am skiing 50+ days this year at least.

Really would like to hear your opinion.

Thank you
Flo
