What are the best dates to go to MT Hood for spring skiing?

There's no bad time really.

Hood’s my home Mt. I’d recommend hfMid-May if you are looking for the best chance of sun and best vibes with all the park homies in town.

If you want a little less crowds in the park, then go earlier in spring pass like early April.

How many chair lifts does the park have? I have no clue about any of this sorry

Depends on the season, we’re getting dumped on rn so the base will last for awhile but usually April is good start date. Just make sure to be respectful camping and don’t litter people will not be stoked with you.

Good chance the airstrip won't be opem for spring pass. If you have an RV you can rock the snow park at the end of the road or across the street. You're aloud to post up there. Could be worth grabning the snowpark pass(only like 30 bucks for the year) if you're gonna be there a while so you don't get hassled. Probably won't have any issues but sometimes the forest service guys can be dicks.

Also Sandy just rebuilt their skatepark. Opened a momth or 2 ago. Shit's sick af. Check it out if you skate.

I would go for around 2 weeks. I am thinking during march because that’s when I can take my brother with me as well. Thank you for all the information

End of may is best for vibes and weather and Palmer potentially running, but end of march and April is good for being less busy and probably more lower terrain being good. But honestly the weather up there is so unpredictable every year it’s hard to call. Had some big dumps last may or could rain, plus I’ve had many days the whole hill shuts for wind. You got an rv so you’ll be warm just go when you’re able to
