tomPietrowskiI’m actually working on compiling that list currently to get over to boa so they can ensure dealers have new parts on hand. I’ll update this thread once I know the retailers in those areas you asked about.
Stoked that these are nearly out now, I think a lot of people are going to be surprised by them.
BallClapperE&S redmond don't carry k2 or line because of sub par durability but would probably interested in a boot. Idk how their deals work or anything but thats my go to.
tomPietrowskiSaw one of the first remarks about the Cortex boots being used out in the wild posted over on TGR.
“Have a couple days in the Cortex now, they’re everything I have hoped they would be. I have only had them on while patrolling so I haven’t fully stepped on the gas yet, but they are not even in the same league as the Recon line. I would directly compare them to Atomic Redster CS, very similar fit, feel, and flex. Still figuring out the whole Boa thing after being anti-boa for a while.”
I know of a few people who lurk here who have the boots already but if you get chance to try them out I’d love to hear feedback on fit and performance!

sashkoeuro guys are also interested!
jfpCan you tell me about this boot I'm not familiar yet. Thanks.
tomPietrowskiIn Europe we are prioritizing getting the early boots into the independents who do the most boot work. Let me know which regions and I will post up the closest stores!
tomPietrowskiThey are our first true low volume boot. We wanted to build a boot which skis as well as a race inspired boot (Lange RS, atomic Redster cs, Dalbello drs) but was easier to live with day to day and was better for modern skiing.
Our freeride athletes were often using our sister brands race boots as we did not offer that style of boot so we wanted to introduce a modern freeride capable boot to our lineup. The boots have already proven them selves on the freeride world tour after being used by Max Hitzig all last season when he won the freeride world tour.

scratchskier321whats the BSL of the 25.5 and 26.5?
tomPietrowskiThey will be 295 and 305mm
tomPietrowskiThe 140 model will be 2283g in a size 26.5
scratchskier321is the 140 model the only spec thats releasing early in jan?
tomPietrowskiNo we will have 5 models available in January. The 140 which is a unisex boot. And then we will have a 130 and 120 for men and 125 and 105 for women. We will be limited to only 4 sizes. The 140 will be available in 23.5, 24.5, 26.5 and 27.5. Then the men’s will be available in 26.5 and 27.5 and the women’s 23.5 and 24.5
scratchskier321so no 25.5 at all?
tomPietrowskiNot in January unfortunately. Those will be available in the fall. We could only get 4 molds ready for January.
tomPietrowskiThere are only 3000 pairs globally in January so not many at all. Just enough to hopefully build some hype before the main launch in the fall!
scratchskier321what makes the 140 stiffer than the 130?
tomPietrowskiThe shell material is stiffer. The cuff is the same as the 130 and 125w
dubageI'm looking for a stiff new boot. This looks so promising. Love the footboard width design (like duh! Bravo K2). Does anyone know how these flex in comparison to something like a Head Raptor 140 rs? Thanks.
tomPietrowskiThe 140 will be very comparable as that was one of our benchmark boots.
