why is this a big deal
they are getting the same toys but they baby toys are 5x more expensive

Pet toys arent safe for babies. Pieces can break off and be swallowed by the baby. Theres a good reason why baby products have such aggressive recalls.

Same for pet food IME. First memories were literally eating kibble out of a bowl with the other dogs. I may be part wolf IDK but probably fine for regular kids to be raised that way too

You could make the same argument for baby food. Just give them dog food—cheaper and probably way more nutritious. It’s not like the babies are going to remember eating it anyways.
