I’m due for a new kit.
wondering what the most deadly kits of the season would be.

looking for practical technical outerwear with a freestyle fit but good for back country. Bonus points if they offer pro deals.
not looking for pants that aren’t good outside of the park.

Technical, freestyle fit, backcountry...I think your describing Flylow. Size up a bit on Baker bibs, maybe a quantum pro jacket or Knight anorak?

Do you have access to outdoorprolink? They put Arcteryx back on there. Ski it a season and sell it for what ya paid (or more if you don't thrash it). Rinse and repeat. Infinite new-kit glitch. I size up and the cut is perfect. They don't do it anymore, but back in the day the reps used to give 75% off ONE item each season.

I really dig the Rab kit i got from a NS givaway earlier this year. Good fit and super nice. Theyve been a big thing in climbing for a while now and its cool seeing them become bigger in skiing.

I hate flylow jackets but bibs are pretty cool, on season 3 of some baker bibs and still kickin. Burton, armada, trew, and 686 make some good jackets

I got some flylow baker bibs and a Arcteryx Sabre SV on prodeal. Works really well in the resort and backcountry but not worth the price unless your getting the 60% or 70% off prodeals.

Outdoorprolink deal isn't that good. Expertvoice offers better deals. Or go direct.

I have a pair of 686 dojo pants that fit great (not too baggy) and are very waterproof and comfortable. Also maybe check out kysen hall’s sight I just got a pair of 4-stroke pants in and I haven’t had a chance to ski with them yet but the fit is exactly what you’re looking for, they’re great quality, handmade, and in stock in all sizes.

They aren’t handmade by Kysen, just designed fully by him. Quite waterproof, breathable, comfortable, and fit great.

I would second this, I have some KH pants from a couple years ago + the 3L Shell and have 0 complaints. Been out touring almost everyday in them and the shell is pretty light and packable + waterproof with all the bells and whistles you could want but nothing unnecessary imo. Pants do their part pretty damn well and I'd venture to say the 4 strokes would be even better.

I don't know about the 4 stroke, but the pants I got from him last season are shit quality honestly. Fit is good though.

Instead of the baker bibs, i have the chemical pant and theyre great. In order to be any form of baggy, they were tall XLs haha.

Thrift a big feather jacket with a fur collar from a high-end brand and some basic baggy snow pants. Keep all your shit semi-vintage and classy. Chicks dig class.
