dont get cameras that are old enough to obtain a drivers license or buy alcohol even lol. batteries are a nightmare, parts can be challenging, they fail a lot and in my opinion they look like shit. grainy bullshit that makes skate videos look “raw” but makes snow clips look like shit because the sky and the ground look like one. get 1080p at 60fps. my old ass iphone 11 shoots 1080 at 240 fps or 4k at 60 fps so anything less is a joke at this point. i got a rig for my phone and its dope, cost less than a camera, and can go on any new phone i get. can swap lenses on it as well.
