Hi NS! I was getting curious and started digging. It seems pretty difficult to find footage from past years of Winter X Games online. I found some here, but feel free to contribute other videos or stories.
Let's start by rolling the clock back to the 3rd Winter X Games (2nd time in Crested Butte, CO) in 1999.

2001 was the final year that Winter X Games were not televised live. This was also the second consecutive year of the Mount Snow location. The move to Aspen, CO happened for the 2002 year and Winter X Games has not looked back since.
