I recommend a Woodstove because not only does it keep you cozy but you can cook on it and dry your clothes

SendyMcSendyfaceMake sure you've got ventilation of some sort, being in a small enclosed space will build moisture really fast just from your breathing.
realassboatKinda just planned on cracking both the windows so there’s a solid path for air to go in and out. Gonna be cold either way so figured not much of a problem of heat loss via this.
LippamaniIt's one of my dumptrucks and I put a semi tarp over it that I borrowed from my friend and I took the Woodstove I use for winter camping and heating my log cabin that I built when I was 14 and we snowboarded till 2am then had a decent party then slept.
i had 11 friends who said theyd do it 4 showed up 2left early one left at 3am and the only one who stayed is my friend I see like once a month but has always been down for an adventure since I met him as a 10yr old, he's the one in the picture on the right. Picture is the day we finished the cabin together.
Eli.braun98Tf is that setup? looks dope asf
ScootSkiLyfeWhere are you goin?
I am also embarking on a truck camper journey soon here. Not exactly sure where I want to go but I'll be in the Western US. Utah, Oregon , maybe CO and CA unsure.
I don't have a heater or anything but I will have enough blankets and a couple of sleeping bags so that I don't die if it gets to be -10 or so out there. That's the idea right?
big thing that sucks is a lot of resorts don't allow lot camping. They gotta plow etc. would help to have a list of all the resorts you're going to and then check their websites for camping rules.

realassboatCurrently in Canada in Banff and heading to rev. Thus far, no heater but a lot of pads (big foam ones with a reflector foam one on top) and a really good bag with my additional summer bag just in case. Sleep with a merino wool hoodie and havent needed the summer bag. Having warm boots is a big plus and I have a dryer that plugs into my cigarette lighter.
Boat storage desiccant in the bed helps a lot with moisture and I leave the windows open. Also carpeted my cap with marine carpet which kinda helps with condensation if there is any. Slapped some lights back there which is nice at night.
Occasional hostel is reallly nice for a shower and a kitchen, typically just try to keep really lowkey and camp wherever, some lots do have overflow parking where they allow it. Just ask around.
ScootSkiLyfeWord! I'll be heading that way with some boys in middle of February. Revelstoke and Banff , lemme know if you're still out there and want to show us around in exchange for a shower lol
