I'm looking to replace my current all mountain ski. I currently ride a 2021/22 Armada ARV 96 in 177 length. I'm 6'1" and 270lb. I have pretty strong legs, as I compete in strong man and weight train about 6 days a week. I've been skiing since middle school and I'm now 28. When I originally bought this length, I sized down bc it was my first full length ski after being a ski blade kid, so I wanted to get used to the extra length again. I've now started to outski this ski imo. They walk at higher speeds on me and don't feel very stable over 45mph. My other skis are Vishnu Wide Pluses in 183, which I love but don't use for all mountain bc we get a lotta icey/hardpack days where I live. I'm considering buying 2023/2024 ARV 106s in 188 length, as I've found a good deal on a pair and I like the wider platform on the vishnus. Would this be a good ski for all mountain ripping? I like going super fast and aggressive on groomers, skiing glades, hitting side hits or natural kickers or park jumps (I'd prefer something that can absorb a lotta the landing as I tore my meniscus a few years ago) skiing bump, and just getting silly. I probably won't use these much for rails or butters, as I'd rather my vishnus for that. I do like skiing switch and doing groundspins/reverts/etc. We don't really get powder here as I'm on the east coast, so that's not a big concern tbh. I normally ski for about 8 hours each time I go out so I want something that's not so soft it'll completely tire me out after a few runs.
Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question. I keep seeing mixed reviews on the ARV 106. Thanks in advance.
