Im actually dropping a video tutorial in the next couple weeks. Theres a very specific technique to do them that I don’t think people understand because 90% of people land underfoot and then slide into it, which imo, is not a make. Its like reverting onto a rail instead of nosebuttering. I think the reason why most people do them on rainbows is because they don’t actually know how to do them the right way. Its also the reason why nobody tailslides, they do bluntslides instead because they are easy.
Bluntslides are super chill, i’ll drop the tutorial sooner than later but if u want a quick tip pretend theres an imaginary rail beside the one you are hitting and just press as hard as you can.
Make sure your feet are wide, unlike a tail press on flat. You need your feet to be shoulder width apart or else you’ll eat shit.
Like I said, I don’t think landing underfoot and sliding into it counts. Heres a random clip of me doing a legit tailslide “the proper way” but i’ll drop a real tutorial with more clips soon and actually explain because it took me a while to figure out the best techniques for tailslides specifically
