CAMCORDER HELP

Couple Months ago I went to go film and my screen just randomly faded into fuzziness and never changed back. It stays like this, or either completely white. It’s an old Samsung and idfk the model but if there’s any camera wizards I need help because this is my only camera :(

Assuming it takes tapes, it might just be an issue with the tape itself. Are you able to shoot anything at all? If you can hit record and actually shoot anything do that, then transfer it to your computer and see if it plays back normally. If the playback is the same as the screen, your camera/tape might be done for. Lowkey just a couple of months ago my 20 year old Sony camcorder was fucking up playing back tapes, and literally all I had to do to fix it was lightly slap the side that takes the tapes. Maybe you could try that, doubt it would work because it ain't the same problem, but who knows with old analogue shit. Sometimes the simplest solution works

It takes an sd card, I tried recording footage but when i uploaded all the files the footage didnt show up, ill try hooking up to a monitor and see if anything changes.

Was gonna say it looked a little small for tapes -- stupid question, but have you tried another SD card? or made sure that the little lock slide on your SD card isn't set to locked?

SD isnt locked, i'll dig around and see if i can find another one
