Replying to GoPro hate

What’s up with GoPro hate these days? I understand that the vast majority of GoPro users are holiday skiers who think they can put together a cool edit when they can’t ski for shit and don’t know how to edit. But I see tons of cool shots and entire edits sometimes shot on gopro. It’s really convenient to use for people who ski sick lines in the backcountry and wanna film it easily. I kinda wanna get one just to film my backcountry shenanigans or family ski trips and put together a cool edit. What are the thoughts
