Replying to Screw stripped on a new binding epoxy technique
Hey small question for you guys,
I just mounted my look pivot binding's on my new pair of anima's and I've had a small problem. On of the screws of the front part of the binding stripped. It's super annoying because the ski is new and I don't want to drill new holes in them.
I read on the internet that you can fill the hole with fibreglass cloth and epoxy/hardener and let it sit for a bit then screw it harder. And that's what I have done. Now the screw moves just a little bit when I put 90% of my strength but I don't want to strip it again. I am just super scared that the binding is going to get ripped of in some sketchy situations or big jumps (on doubles or big cliffs) do you think I should re-drill holes in my brand new skis or does it work as it Is?
Thanks
