We all love SLVSH and I am hoping to reach some fans here. We also know that their website https://www.slvsh.com/ is dysfunctional...

At the end of 2023 I started making them a website solely because theirs is down. I watched every single matchup on the channel, recorded statistics. I researched every rider on the channel, recorded data. I introduced some neat functionality to both watch and browse stats in the same place. I then contacted both Joss and Matt at every contact point I could to see if they were interested in having it hosted. Youtube email, instagram, linkedin. No response.

I worked on it for about a month or so more to polish the functionality, put ZERO effort into design. The existing design is simply so I could fucking look at it while I worked on it for 4 months straight......

Now it's been months of sending weekly emails. Still no response. Ironic Joss..... You said on the two planker pod that getting sponsor for SLVSH was like pulling teeth. Well so are you.

I still love you tho. Love Matt. Love SLVSH. If you happen to see this please message me.

For the rest of you reading this, I am back to working on it here and there and have decided to host what I built so far here: https://slvsh-22769.web.app/home

I am all ears on ideas for functionality you would like to see. Statistics you would like tracked. Formulas for a ranking system. User accounts? Comments/Forum? You can post design ideas but I won't be changing anything of the design until Joss or Matt gives me their input.

It is definitely possible to implement some form of gambling, but I cannot tie buy-in money to winnings without a legal headache. Furthermore, it goes without saying it would need the greenlight from Joss…

The way I would look at doing it:
• SLVSH Cup and participants are announced
• Between announcement date and the first video drop of the cup, users can submit their tournament brackets for say $2.
• Everyone who submitted a winning bracket gets some gear.

What do we think of that as an implementation?


Oh my god. A march madness NCAA style bracket for SLVSH cup would be so fun. Money involved or not.

i think it has to be live otherwise its too niche of an industry and it can be manipulated

Great work and I love the hustle. This landing page would be great for your portfolio, but likely not much more. Don’t take any offense!

Put simply, you’re making their product incrementally better, but not getting to the core of the issue. Their YouTube is the landing page. You created an upgrade. Instead of organizing their YouTube better, you could provide a marketing funnel strategy that includes SEO and an affiliate program. (I like ahrefs and semrush to start down this rabbit hole).

THIS would drive conversions and actually provide value. The website could be icing on the cake.

No offense taken, but you need to understand it's a frontend demo which is missing all of the core user account functionality. Meant to show I can incorporate the Youtube channel into a site/app with custom functionality. Things like SEO, marketing, business in general, will come at a later stage once the product is developed.

I have a pitch and plenty of ideas on how a website can improve viewership and user engagement, but most importantly cultivate community. However I am saving that for Joss to hear and decide if he wants it for his brand or not. Everyone in my personal life who is aware of SLVSH says I have something good here, and this forum has echoed those sentiments so I appreciate that.

The website is not icing on the cake, but the mashed potatoes beside your steak and greens. What you see now is but the tip of the iceberg my friends, and I appreciate the support thus far :)

yeah that could work but it would be way more awesome if there was a fake betting aspect to it- aside from who just sins you could put stakes like ... is gonna do this trick..., or, ... is gonna get all letters and ... isn't gonna get any. etc.
