Currently looking for a professional quality HD camera for filming. Looking for something that would be durable on the hill and off (for school events and other events in town). Hoping to use it to expand my portfolio and be able to shoot a wider range of things.
I've been looking at going with a mirrorless (prob fujifilm or sony, if fujifilm then I might trade in my sony and have it be a video+photo camera or maybe not idk) or some professional camcorder but I don't have a clue about camcorders tbh.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

My budget is around ~$800 right now that I can spend but it's not something immediate so I will have more money in the coming future.
I own a Sony A6400 and a Canon DC10 currently. I mainly film with the Canon DC10 but it's a small camcorder and can't record in HD and is not very quality. I'm worried about damaging my Sony A6400 since it's more expensive + its quite shaky on the video.
I own a tripod.
Filming skiing would not be it's sole purpose, most likely also used for filming sports (such as school sports) and other events. But skiing would be a primary focus.
When I film skiing I tend to shoot handheld or follow cams.
I own a decent computer that handles editing really well.
Currently edit on Premiere Pro when I get free subscriptions through school but otherwise I edit on DaVinci Resolve. I'm pretty familiar with Premiere but not so much DaVinci since I use it a lot less.
