Replying to Skateboard decks

Not sure how many people on here skate but I burn through decks like its nobody's business, I don't slide tail and I avoid razor tail etc. But it still comes from just popping the board, along with the boards just breaking. This being said It has led me to try girl, chocolate, Baker, toy machine etc. I even tried the Santa Cruz deck with carbon. But all of these decks feel the same to me, up until I got a death wish deck. It feels to pop better and feel smoother, it is my first time on an 8.5 previously (8.25) and was wondering if that could be the reason? anyone know
