Surface Attila, what size?

I’m 5’8” 160lbs. Gonna get another set of big boat skis. And I’m in between the 174 and 184cm. Using them to ski deep snow in tight trees so I’m kinda tipping towards shorter, but since they are rockered af I don’t wanna get too short


I used to have Surface Balances in 168cm but they felt a little short tbh especially when dropping bigger cliffs. And also were just hella unstable

the Balance and Attila seem like a pretty similar ski, but the Attila actually has camber so I feel like I would be fine on 174’s?

also, I ride 177 Wets now, and had 183 Wide Pluses. So honestly I feel I’d be okay either way with length.

I just want more opinions

Pay shipping and I got u down for 184 bent 120’s. Though for the Attila 184 is probably the right size. When in doubt size up.

BallClapperPay shipping and I got u down for 184 bent 120’s. Though for the Attila 184 is probably the right size. When in doubt size up.

Ooo bindings or no?

but yeaaah especially with hella rocker it’s nice to have a little extra length for stability when I wanna go fast

No bindings, two mounts. One at -1 tc for pivot 15 at 312 bsl and one at -3 for shifts and 312 bsl.

Mounting centre is bad for float on any ski. Further you go back more floaty. I liked -4 on my bents. (Could have been 3, can’t fully remember.) my current ski is 110 and mounted -1 ish. Floats like garbage.

I’d go -2 cm from center if you plan on spinning and landing switch on them. They’re about as heavy as some park skis from a few years back, they could be pretty fun it the park
