Replying to Advice Needed for Alps Trip
Hey everyone,
I’m planning a ski trip to the Alps with a group of college buddies this March. We’re looking for a balance of great terrain, decent park, decent après-ski, and affordable accommodations. So far, we’re eyeing places like Val Thorens, Méribel (Chandon), and Praranger in Les 3 Vallées.
A few questions:
Are there specific villages or areas we should avoid to keep costs down?
Is it realistic to rely on shuttles and public transport, or is renting a car necessary?
Any tips for lift passes or ways to save on costs while still skiing the big terrain?
Thanks in advance, have a great season everyone.
