Daymakers?

I saw you made a thread about a two ski quiver, I would throw a pair of Casts/Dukes (or frame binidngs so you dont need new boots) on one set up that you plan on using for bigger mountain and then that way you have a touring set as well if youre thinking of going towards that. The daymakers are notoriously not an efficient way for touring, and IMO two many things that can break.

that’s a future thing though, will be touring a lot in Stowe throughout the season and I feel the daymakers will just make that really easy. I definitely ski alpine way more than I would tour

Hi this is Chris, one of the guys behind Daymaker Touring. I don't often jump into these threads but I saw it and wanted to throw my two cents in. Giray and I designed the original Daymakers with exactly that kind of thing in mind- touring to hit jumps and lines on non touring skis. You don't have to pay a cent to remount anything and the east coast skis you're going to hit jumps on are probably not the skis you want a touring binding of any kind on. Depending on your level, you might not even want a boot with a walk mode, and Daymaker Classics are THE ONLY touring option that has any provisions to improve touring efficiency with a non walk mode boot via the 4 bar tech. If you plan to pickup a full tech setup down the road, the Tekdapters are a great bridge and will allow you to keep all that downhill performance and then setup a lighter more uphill focused setup than you might otherwise down the line.
