Boots: k2 method vs dalbello il moro jakk help

80 flex is incredibly soft especially for your height and weight. You should be in like a 120-130 flex bro unless you ski mostly park . But 80 is super soft .

As tempting as it is to look for the cheapest option and buy it is, boots aren’t something you want to mess up. Find something that works for you then look for deals. Do you have another boot or will this be your only set? Every single brand has a low, mid, and high volume option of every boot. Idk what’s best for you but 80 sounds way too soft. 110 at the very least. Best of luck!

edit: @quintcork has wide feet, maybe he could share his experience and stuff he tried. OP, Chat to your bootfitter some more and see what other options there are, don’t lock into a single boot/ brand just yet.

kylemoriarty_i got a great deal on k2 revolve, but my foot is too wide for it (i'm going to return them). boot fitter suggested k2 method, which is $500 and i trust him to bake it well for me (baking is free if i buy from them). but im looking at dalbello il moro jakk, which seems to be the competitor for the k2 method? it's much cheaper on sale at $180 online. but it has an 80 flex instead of a 90 flex? what do you think is the move here? i'm an expert skiier, but new-ish to park. i'm 6' and 200lbs, 33 year old.

I have wide feet too. Ive been on Rossignol alltrack 90's for 3 seasons now. ski lots of park and all mountain. Haven't had issues and they are heatmodable. Ive heard lots of good stuff about k2 methods (B&E ones look cool) and would probably wait to get them in the summer when they are cheaper.
considering I spent 500$ for the rossi all tracks I would just get the methods if you have money and they fit well. boots are worth your money anyways and will out last your skis most likely.

oh also 80 flex is NOT gonna be enough for you. Im 5'11 145lb and use 90 flex. You most likely want something that's at least 90 especially for doing expert skier stuff outside the park.

80 is soft but the nice part is you just need to swap the tongue with the method so you can make them any flex you want. But go try them on as well as the Dalbello. Both great boots if they fit
