Replying to Shop Problems

JacksonA125:
I work at a shop, and I would say I am more often than not, mounting skis all day, as nobody else really knows how or cares to learn. There is one other guy who does mounts, and today, for the fourth time this year, I found a pair of skis that were halfway completed( holes drilled, but bindings not mounted). No note on them, no mention of it to anyone at the shop. Problem is, I grab the binding box to finish it, and the holes are drilled wrong. I get that mistakes happen, but not saying anything when you fuck up, multiple times, is a fireable offense in my opinion. My boss won’t seem to hold him accountable, and previously has had him plug the holes and re-drill the ruined new ski! Has anyone ran into this type of shady behavior? Is the best thing to do just quit and find a less shady place to work? Am I stupid for thinking messed up mounts = new skis, no matter what?
