Transferring to CU boulder for spring

Can’t give you any specific information on the university itself but I will say that Boulder is a chill place if you’re into climbing or skiing. As long as you got those two things than you will be fine. Eldora is like a half hour away with a billion public transportation options so that’s also pretty cool. Coming from ca to co is a pretty standard move, I lived in the bay until I was 10, one thing you will definitely notice is that there is no shitty times of year compared to California. As opposed to the nov-march piss phase you get in California. 300 sunny days/yr is fucking great

CA is sunnier than CO

Honestly really depends on where you are. Death valley? Yes. The coast? Hell no. That marine layer in the summer is in and out all the time. Then its the rain in the winter/spring. Even though I live in colorado, some of my favorite landscape photo spots are in Cali and there were definitely more clouds and atmosphere, but anything south or just past the sierras is very sunny. Maybe even the San Joaquin valley too.

Idk I've only lived in CA for 6 years and CO for 2. Both are genuinely sunny if not snowing. Tahoe and Mammoth June are pretty sunny.

Just saying you can move to places where it's plenty sunny if not more sunny and go skiing here.

I live in Denver and used to live in Incline Village. The Sierras felt sunnier to me than Colorado. But Colorado is pretty damn sunny too.

Eldora is dope for getting laps in before or after class. Can bike anywhere in town and tons of mtb trails nearby
