Baggy clothes and skiing ?

Hi everyone
I recently tried skiing in my favorite baggy clothes, but it turned out to be more challenging than I expected. The wind slowed me down, the cold seeped through despite thermal layers, and snow kept piling into the wide pants after falls.
Has anyone found a way to combine baggy style with practicality on the slopes? I'd love to hear your tips. Thanks!
