How do i get my gf into skiing

I'll give her lessons on the house.

Hi this is a common problem! To get her into skis you have to do these steps!

1. take her to the mountain
2. get her to put ski boots on
3. clip them into her skis

and that’s all !

don’t do it bro girlfriends either came skiing or cry when you try to teach them no in between

Just get into doing Nordic together, so much cheaper, warmer, healthier, and you’re still skiing. Then you can go shred without her it’s ok to have separate hobbies

So my girl was a snowboarder before transitioning to skiing. Luckily for me, she was an excellent figure skater growing up, so she picked it up and progressed very naturally, understanding both edge control from SB and muscle memory from skating...

Be warned - this could potentially be a psychological battle. Is she ultra competitive? Will she stress out at the top of steeps? Will she flip her shit if you ski too far in front of her? Too many things to list, but the point is tread lightly. Be VERY aware of how terminology, your tone, your support, etc. is all coming outta your mouth. lol. Newschoolers is no place for relationship advice but I'm just sayin....

I refer al my friends to Stomp It Tutorials on Youtube. She can either watch herself or you steal all his tips, terms, and progression.

I'd say bring her to a bunny hill and start off with the basics. You can go to a ski swap and check out what they have for cheap get some decent gear that's affordable. My GFs friend went and got skis and boots for $140. Then just spend some time on the bunny hill. I've tought 2 of my exs to ski and it's pretty fun and they enjoy it, that being said it can be frustrating for both parties there will probably-definitely be crying but it's fun the Nordic idea sounds like alot more fun and you can still rip with the homies sometimes skiing with the GF can be less fun then you think but good luck dont over think it! Hopefully she enjoys it!

I would spring for one of those progressive lesson programs that ‘guarantees’ you will lean to make turns. I’ve seen some advertised that include lessons and then a reward of more lift access after a few lessons kind of thing. Go ski while she is in lessons and after have her show you what she learned. Then cut the day short for your date by the fire or whatever
