Brush cleaning

I have a couple different brushes I use for ski services, they are some what dirty now, anyone have any advice on cleaning them?

If they are metal wire brushes, dip them in ice water and bend the wires, the metal will contract and the wax will become brittle and fall off

Usually I just rub the bristles of one brush with another brush.

Then bang it on the bench and sweep or vacuum the bits. You could probably hit it with the shop vac as well?

If you're talking about wax dust that accumulates in the brush bristles (wire or nylon), then I just hit it with the vacuum.
