you cant unfortunately, they're attached to the liner. you could cut and then sew em.

Smith method has great protection rating, still is relatively slim and light, removable ear pads, and it’s got that koroyd stuff in the vents, overall I think it’s the best helmet in the market rn

I have been looking at the sweet protection looper. New some seasons ago. We had a representative from sweet come by the shop to show off some helmets, and the looper seems to be the safest good looking helmet. Sweet have been pushing engineering in helmets like crazy. they were one of the core investors of mips and did RND to develop it.
