Been looking at cameras for a while now and im not sure if i should go for a high quality Point and shoot or a DSLR. Im gonna be doing a bit of filming but mainly skiing so a point and shoot camera would be nice because I could just keep it in my pocket while doing laps. On the other hand, I want to get a camera good for photography and cinematography outside of skiing and i feel like instead of getting a good point and shoot I could grab a lower end DSLR. thinking about either a cannon elph 360 or some low end nikon dslr. Lighting wise, im mostly gonna be shooting at night and wont be in any fridges. if u have camera experience lmk what you would do rn bc I want a point and shoot so that i can get good clips and still carry around easily, but a DSLR would be nice so I could apply it more to photography/cinematography. High end PAS would be similar price to average DSLR so let me know what you guys would think.
