Should I buy K2 reckoner?

So I already own a directional all-mountain skis(Faction Dancer 2) which works perfect on groomer days or just resort days with all around conditions. But the ski kind of sucks in deep powder and obviously in the Park. I found a pair of k2 reckoners + a binding (Marker 11 TP) for only 335 bucks: https://www.snowleader.ch/de/pack-reckoner-92-2024-BUND07058.html
I think this would be the perfect for a first twintip for a very good price.
What do you guys think about it. And will this skis performe better in Powder than the dancer 2?

These are reckoner 92s. the dancer 2 is 96 underfoot. the the reckoners will probably perform about the same if not worse in powder. If you ride enough deep snow to justify getting new skis for it, get actual powder skis. if you want something that will do better in the park there are lots of wide skis that are known to be very fun in the park.

If you're pow skiing step that up to the Reckoner 102. It's my all-mountain driver and will handle park, groomers, crud, and some pow pow. I can't see the 92 being that great in pow.

Go Nomads, either 100 or 105 depending on how often you hit pow. I’m hearing from my friends out west that the 100s float just fine tho.

I have them its a really fun ski but they lost a big piece of the edge after a while they are still skiable bit without like 20cm edge on one of the skis. I bought them in spring 2023 and it happened in february 2024

Where does one source icelantic in Switzerland and how much do a pair of nomads cost in Swiss Francs???

It was sort of a rhetorical question, I don't think they are readily available in Europe and it would probably cost a fortune to import.

ARV 106 might be a good easily available option? Or maybe the movement fly 105?

ARV is always a great pick! I can’t speak to how well it floats in pow, but it definitely kills all mountain

Playmaker 101 also a cool option to check out, I really like mine. Then again.. I also loved my ARVs too lol I’m pretty easy to please

I’ve got a buddy who bought some fly 105s this year. He says they’re the most fun skis he’s ever had. Skis park on them no problem too

Thats what I thought. But I am mainly looking for a good beginner Park ski. Would have been cool if I could get a bette pow performance with the same ski. But I think that will simply not work (also because of the mounting point).

Good recommendation. I found a pair of 2024 + bindings from 2024 for 500 bucks. Where would you mount it if it should work in park and in powder?

True the mounting point will likely be the biggest draw back but there are lots of skis that preform well in the park and will be better in pow then the dancers.

K2 Reckoner 102
Volkl Revolt 104
ON3P Jeffery 108
Line bacon 108

Honestly if you're gonna buy new skis id say do some research and find a pair of pow skis you like then try to find some used cheap park skis. unless your 100% set at getting more into park

I think that depends on what your focus is. If you wanted a ski that’s just a bigger park ski that works in powder I would go -2. If you wanted a powder ski that you can take in the park I would go -4 or -5. Just based off personal preference imo.

yeah its definitely gonna be a compromise between park and pow no matter how you spin it
