Is this a bad mount?

I bought some skis from a reputable shop a couple of weeks ago. I brought them back to get mounted and just got them back.


Left ski looks all good.



Left ski other side looks good.


Right ski outer edge there is a gap between the binding and the ski


What do you think?

It could potentially be torqued to spec but it doesn't look great. I'd take it back and ask them very nicely if they can help you out.

I'd bring it back to the shop and have them check all the other screws because this typically happens when the tech doesn't hand tighten the screws after barking them in with the drill. Otherwise try backing off the screw and making sure the binding is flush to the topsheet of the ski, then tighten it back up; then hand tighten all the other ones to make sure they're snug.
