Weird tips

My gf works in the hotel industry and had a recent guest who owns a meat distribution company. So he gave her 17 filet mignons
instead of cash.

got me wondering for those of you who work or have worked in a hospitality field of some sort where you received tips, what was the oddest thing you ever received as a tip?

Not exactly tip but if you have check mental hospital before you make an offer the chances of some retard hugging you is way too big. Sorry for the r-word i don't know what the non-offensive word is.

Getting a bag of joints from a dude checking out of his hotel room was cool. Also one night working the front desk over the holidays like 8 years ago, a local condo owner was in town with his family and got us all a bunch of pizzas and sandwiches cuz he felt bad we were working.

My sister used to coach a girl whose dad was a regional rep for Salomon in UT and gave her a free pair of Rockr2s with STH2 13s as a thank you.

My roomie used to work at the dispo and had pretty much unlimited free weed. Would always tip the delivery drivers some when they'd drop off food. They were always stoked to deliver to our house lol



Oh and in the opposite way, the owner of all the jersey mikes in Reno would buy his weed through my roomie and would tip in free sandos every time. We had stacks of free sandwich coupons and would go ham on them after touring lol

Not really a tip but spent a summer working in at a fish and chips place as a cook. Some guy who owned a business next door would get free scallops with his meals cuz he let us smoke darts on his deck after closing the restaurant for the night.
