there is a 1100 acre wildfire burning in western mass.

the fire is less than a half mile from my parents house.

Luckily 1.5" of rain coming to help subdue them hopefully. Been so dry the ground is still going to have a hard time absorbing it though

So sorry mate, fingers crossed for your folks. They’re saying it’s likely not going to be fully out until it snows? Hopefully they’re able to get enough resources to get it under control

I live in NW CT and have been waking up to smoke every day. Drove up to Great Barrington today - looks like we’re in Idaho or something. Crazy

vibing like BC in the summer. hope its under control soon. if all goes to shit, I hope you at least end up with a goddamn amazing glades run with trees still intact but branches all burnt aka burnt forest glades on blackcomb... amazing skiing
