Hello everyone,

I had a pair of skis stolen out of the bed of my truck at brighton today. They weren't locked up or anything (yes I am an idiot for that). Just wanted to post this thread to remind everyone that people suck even at ski resorts.

Also if anyone sees a pair of Line Sick Day 104s with drawings on them lmk

Reach out to all of the gear consignment shops in SLC, they'll keep an eye out. Also search on marketplace and craigslist for skis; if you keep looking, theres a solid shot you'll get them back.

saw someone’s instagram story that they got their skis stolen, the person was posting stories with them and copper reposted the story lmao

Vibes OP. This is why I will carry my skis into the bathroom. I hear about stuff getting jacked at the ski areas every year. Once I had my bag stolen from the top lift at the resort so whoever took it had to have ridden 2 lifts up the mountain. Pretty lame that someone who can afford a lift ticket at an expensive ski area would decide to steal but we hear about movie stars shoplifting and stuff too

just had someone steal the frame bag off my bike. They got my CO2 inflator, tire repair kit and a twix bar as well. I'm glad the whole bike wasn't nabbed but who the fuck steals the frame bag off a bike?

When I moved to Salt lake at 19 someone stole my bike light off my bike, biggest inconvenience since it was my mode of transport before I had a car for a year and a half

Why carry them in? It'd be so easy for someone to rip them out of your hand while you piss. I just scootch into the bathroom with mine still on my feet

Nice, I hate having to unclick just to pee. Not so sure people would have such an easy time snatching a ski while I pee but maybe I should keep myself leashed up just in case. Started using a leash in combination with non release bindings last season because F runaway skis and boards

They should make a little terminal on the side of a run with some urinals, so you can take your piss mid run. They should also make it one of those long metal ones so you don’t even have to stop, just gotta whip it out and time it right
