If you're beginner/intermediate or just want something ultra-maneuverable and don't care about stability or float in pow, 181 is fine. If you are advanced/expert and want to ski fast and float in soft stuff, go 186 at least.

You can get away with 186, that’s honestly as short as you’d want to go in my opinion. I am 6’3 and rode 186 mangos and kartel 98s in the past but always wanted something just a tad bit longer, long park skis for us taller guys is limited selection. Got the 191 102 kryptos and they’re sweet!
