East coast resorts open

Hey,

Very few mountains have opened (very, VERY limited in terms of runs open) up for the season in New Hampshire and Maine. Bretton Woods is opening on weekends at the moment, and Sunday River has started up as well. Sugar Loaf is opening this week, and Canon begins on the 29th (projected). Tremblant also opens later this month. With that said, the runs will be limited, and the lines will be unpredictable.

On top of that, warm weather and rain could lead to closure. As every mountain has just opened up, I doubt there are many/any features. The Ice Coast mountains require a solid base, so many mountains wait until they have one that will stick, so it may be in your best interest to hold off on dropping cash to hit the hills for a while. Grab your rock skis and make the best of it if you venture out.

Best bet until the first real storm hits.

Sunday River has 4-5 features. We're set to open Friday at loaf, weather's looking kinda iffy so if we have a park it'll probably just be 2-3 jibs for the first weekend. The real early season park trail where we'll be till mid december needs a few more days of snowmaking but thats when we'll jump to about a dozen features..
