theabortionatorPut a wide foot on the pvc to keep it from rocking. Also can bury it in the lip to help keep it stable.
Can build a small takeoff out of wood with carpet if you're stressing snow. Depends on temps but a lot of times rocking rink
k snow its a little wet, the salt will so wonders if its wet. If you use pow or sugary snow you can heat it up and ice it with a propane torch.
STEEZUS_CHRI5Tpost some pics of the setup!
tdolloLast time i went to a rink for some preseason PVC fun was 10+ years ago. Luckily Ontario is crazy about hockey so there were a couple nearby rinks with a nice slope where they dumped the snow. Photos are from 2012 or 2013, good times
We rarely had any issues with arena staff, always helps to clean up after yourself and be nice to the Zamboni driver, sometimes they'd even ask us where to dump the next load of snow.

quintcorkHell yeah. Im in ottawa and the rink is right across the street from my college. When you say "Clean up" does that include shoveling snow back into the pile?or it doesnt matter to just leave it to melt.
