Picked these up today for a steal and would really like to ride them. The guy who I got them from mounted center for a 27.5-28.5 (he couldn’t remember). I was wondering if I would be able to save the center mount since my boot is much smaller (25.5 293bsl). Let me know if anyone has experience with this kinda thing. Thanks!

Boot size isn’t really important. It’s more about what his bsl was. My 26.5’s are 304 and 305 respectively.

Like is Said you can’t really just go by mondo anymore. There is no standard between companies for bsl unfortunately. So one 25.5 can be 293 another can be 310. Also depends where those bindings were Mounted in the adjustment range. Let’s just say it’s mounted at. 27.5 and for arguments sake his bsl is a 310. But they were mounted at the bottom of the adjustment range. Then you wouldn’t have enough adjustment left in the bindings to get down to your 293. Now let’s assume his is 310 still but it’s mounted at the furthest adjustment range. Well then you’d likely have enough adjustment left to get down to your 293.
So really you need to know what his BSL is and where in the range the bindings were mounted. Most shops will mount new bindings in the middle of the range so you have room to go up or down in size. But not everyone does this.
