Lange LX 110 HV. Booster straps, and cut the liners to accommodate instep pain, also heel lifts on both.
Moving on to Tecnica Mach Sport 100 HV since the instep felt great right off the rip, added a heel wedge in both since I can't ever eliminate heel lift.
Currently rocking some Full Tilt drop kick pros (beige model)
-size 25.5
-custom painted mix match boot
futur me: I would like to upgrade to something that’s a bit more comfortable. A bit wider than 99 last don’t really care about the brand now lol, I got a few boots in mind by only boot fitting will determine which ones ima cop
Tecnica Cochise 120 MV, 27.5. I think the last is 99. No modifications, just Superfeet insoles. I use them for everything from hiking in the street to touring. I wear a US size 11.5 shoe and have pretty normal feet. The ski boots were torture for the first week but once they packed a bit they were perfectly snug. If it's really cold I do have to wait for them to warm up to take them off though. Would like to have something more stiff but overall I'm very happy with them.

One of my fave looking full tilts. Also yea screw brand loyalty, make the bootfitter pull out all ur options and pick the most comfy

Yeah man, those babies hurt like hell when i tried em on. Thats a good idea using a touring boot for street cuz of the walk mode
Resort-K2 recon 130 boas with superfeet inserts, molded liners. Multilast MV. I’ve been nothing but happy. Boa did exactly what it claimed to do and the fit is better than the buckle version for me.
Light tour-Rossignol Alltrack LT Pro 110 with superfeet inserts and heat molded liners. 100 last MV. Overall I’ve been pretty happy. Walk mode is easy to use, tech fittings for some light touring. I’ve only done short inbounds touring and these are more than comfortable for that. Not sure I’d be happy with a multi mile out bounds hike.

Pit Viper pivs on the blades go so hard. Helll yeah dawg. Also nice kicks, love hearing a positive boa story.
been riding a pair of 25.5 roxa r3 130’s for a half season. just insoles, no molds. comfiest boots i’ve ever worn, they rip so hard when theyre buckled too, good rom for touring as well
been riding dalbello krypton’s the last 2 seasons that ive had punched and molded but i’ve got some broken buckles currently that i need to replace. roxa’s taken the spot for me i think, don’t think im going back. trying out a dalbello lupo or the phaenom if i get an opportunity seems worth it tho
dalbello lupo carbon ti 27,5. my feet measure 27,6 and 27,5.
i have swapped the liner for a intuition pro wrap, installed a world cup booster, swapped the boot boards from hard plastic to rubber and have custom insoles in them.
it is my holy grail boot, i had the ax version of the lupo and it was pretty good. had the roxa r3 130 last season and twisted my ankle inside the boot cause it was too soft. now the carbon lupo is all i need in a boot, although i’m searching for a more touring oriented boot as well

Atomic hawx ultra 110 with sidas footbeds. Just added some zipfit gara LV's for the season. Also shaved down the plastic under the 3rd buckle to get a bit more flex out of it
deacdalbello il Moro's I just got them remolded with toe caps on hopefully it'll stop the toe bang. (I'm downsized and went to a boot fitter)
+ 1 for the Dalbello Moros's. Currently adding Booster Straps, molding the liners, and installing my custom foot beds. Stock fit seemed good but will be better after a little work. Size 26.5
I got the Lange XT3 120LV, booster strapped, heat molded and custom footbeds. first boots i have been able to really enjoy. broke my toe on the trampoline two years ago and had to get footbeds to keep the toe supported, really happy with them and wish i got some earlier.
On the list to try but the problem is I can’t find literally any race boot to try on in my entire state. The one good race shop closed a few years ago.
intuition power wrap liners (probably something like my 12th pair of liners)
downunder footbeds - really like these cause the surface is kinda grippy, plus they have a good amount of vertical deflection to take the edge off of impacts
removed the lower buckle cause I never used it anyway
removed the stock Velcro power strap and run a pair of booster straps: one three-layer lower, right above the top buckle; then a two-layer goes above the top of the tongue and locks in the cuff of the liner
cat tracks to get me through the parking lot without eating shit
bennwithtwons2012 dalbello krypton pro, 24.5, C flex tongue

Wow. Never seen double booster straps. That’s wild. If it works it works.
i got ft drop kicks and the k2 diverge for uphill. both 30.5 and both have the exact same bsl. with them being the same bsl but 1 having gripwalk, can i interchange them?? never tried and likely wont but if I was in a pinch, would they work??
Tecnica Mach1 120 MV with booster straps. Also got heel lifts and two sets of super feet insoles, one custom molded. Can’t find one setup that I like the best so I switch up every once in a while. Maybe the boots just don’t fit right idk.
Solly s pro 120 I think mv
merino wool footbeds my bro hooked me up with
heat molded shell
intuition liners
best boots I’ve ever had, I got a weird fucked up instep and the intuition liners made all the difference. Feel wayy stiffer than other 120 boots with the liner, I think people overlook a liners influence on flex
I’m incredibly fussy about my boots, hence the same pair for more than a decade. That being said, I’m seriously considering finally upgrading to some modern GW boots. Gotta get with the time (plus, cat tracks are annoying as hell)

How does the redster compare to hawx? Been looking at the hawx but it's out of stock where I want to order it. Also would enjoy an even more locked in heel.

Gripwalk binding can take both, non grip walk binding won’t take grip walk boot.

Yea no I can see it, there’s a reason ur keeping them around. That’s so dope, I love seeing gear like that

I actually had SPROs, my instep is crazy fucked. Everything hurts, mines right under the second buckle (counting bottom up) Tecnica HV 100 2024 is the best right out the box I’ve ever felt. Won’t be surprised if I need mods down the line tho lol
Been riding the Roxa element 120 for about 6 seasons now. Been through 2 pairs. Wicked boot and last forever. Extremely good customer service if you ever do have a parts break ie buckles. They’ve sent me anything I’ve requested with no questions asked. They won’t let you down
25.5 redster CS130 with the mimic professional liner, custom footbeds, and inside grinded out for width, length, and instep. Shock stopper boot boards and rubber din soles.
26.5 OG hawx ext 130 with intuition tour wrap liner. Punched for width.
Previously been in hawx 120, scarpa freedoms, and FTs. Love the redsters

Its been hard for me to adjust to. I was trying to run the Intuition Powerwrap and it wasn't working out. I just got the Prowrap but havent skied them yet with it. They are WAY more substantial and heavy than the Hawx. The forward lean is noticeable in comparison, too.
