StaticThe lack of pro model skis is bullshit. Even something as simple as different graphic to help get them some royalties is better than nothing.
deacfaction seems to be doing a pretty good job just wish the pro model graphic weren't limited to 250 fucking pairs
TheClap. His new video got me thinking, did he ever have a signature ski/pro model? He killed it for years and was the top guy but I don’t ever remember a pro model from him.

burratamaybe that would be relevant if the prodigys didnt snap in 15 days on snow
VtsnowskiThink he had one with Crosson,

BallClapperA ton of camber and very little rocker. Weird shape.

midwestcoastI have a pair of 2016 NFX. I'm pretty sure they were marketed as his pro model at the time. Most stable park ski I've ever been on. Excellent ski for jumps and pipe. Definitely not the most playful, but they're fantastic when you get used to the extra weight. No speed limit. I basically use it as a new school groomer ski these days.

SeaUrchin123Fellow 2016 NFX enjoyer here and completely agree on the stability. The core thickness and camber height are pretty substantial. The graphic is "boring" but the orange and wood peeking through looks nice. I brought mine back to life last year after fixing the noses w/ rivets and they're good as new.
BradFiAusNzCoCaFor real. Faction is only one really doing it. They should just do the skate style of different graphics.
SeaUrchin123Wouldn't say Faction is the only one doing pro models/graphics. Ideally there'd be more, but there's actually a decent amount this season. Probably missing some but I searched:
Vishnu: Cal Carson, Dylan Manley, Andrew Egan, Dakota Connole, and Child Labor
Armada: Kim Boberg, Henrik Harlaut, Phil Casabon, and Sammy Carlson
ON3P: Jake Mageau and Eirik Moberg (his ski is still on the site)
LINE: Tom Wallisch and Taylor Lunquist
4FRNT: Thayne Rich and Eric Hjorleifosn
Surface: Harald Hellström and Maino Ormio
Atomic: Chris Bentchetler
Head: Cole Richardson
K2: Karl Fostvedt

jompcockI wish faction would actually sell the skis their pros ride lmao. I feel like these companies don't get shit on enough for doing that. Same thing with the Infamous Atomic Infamous scam they were running trying to convince people that their garbage pricepoint ski was actually cool because LSM and the Wells brothers were riding them. Fuck those companies and all their sponsored riders are selling a lie.

Christian_Baleobligatory vishnu mention
SlowbroAthlete stiffness has always been a thing. I don’t see a problem with it most of the time.
i agree that they shouldn’t put different graphics on one ski to sell another, Line used to do that all the time.
Some skiers rode bacons with blend graphics in pow, and I remember LJs stepups having a conspicuous sidewall when they were still “skatedeck construction” or whatever
jompcockThen sell skis with the stiffness the athletes use. If the company can't justify a production run of the ski that the rider actually uses, then they don't deserve a pro model. I have no problem with pro models that are in top sheet only as long as the pro actually uses that ski.
