wait for a day that cloudy and cold, so it doesnt melt. i'd try this if i had a truck, or some ppl that would do it with me. i think it would be faster, and easier to do it right at the arena

I know Pete Proos did it once. They have a friend who works at an Ice rink and one day they got 7 pick up trucks (they are hicks) and brought truckfulls all day to some small hill and they set up a rail for like 2 weeks.

well im about to to do this exact thing tomorrow. ill let ou all know how it goes. generaly theres just a large pile of snow outside the rink and there a hill nearby so were gonna take some people with shovels and make a jib.

We didnt have any trucks so it took us a while. we started out just taking shovel fulls from the pile to the hill about 50 meters away but it was to tireing. so then i stole a wheel barrow from some place with barb wire around it and that sped things up. were gonna make a cool rail tommorow and do it again and get some footage.

naw, it was a huge pile of snow. the stuff on the bottom had been sitting there for like a week and it was hard as hell, so we though there wouldnt be enough. then the zamboni came out and dumped a bunch of 'powder' on the pile. it was actually really nice snow.

Slivers of metal? That doesn't make any sense because the zamboni guys have to keep the ice in good condition. i.e. no slivers of metal in it. Peace.

yeah like if you have a hockey arena go take it and then set it up by the hadrails close by that lead to the stadium

we took four truck loads once and built a kicker in some kids yard.....it was phat. it was free too, they just leave it out to melt, so if you take it they don't care. fun stuff

whew! in those wicked hot july days like in the 20's or something a chick in our area set up a rail IN the pile. she just built one side up and put entry mats as a landing. it was all cool till she tried it in skate shoes. i wish we had a camera. i guess the snow had melted and the rail flew out from underneath when she jumped on. she did a cool little spinny flippy thing.
