Dilemma

Just got my paws on a pair of rossi super blackops 98 for 200 new. First was wondering what u guys recommend for mounting. generally i center mount everything but im not sure w this ski. Not rlly planning to use this in the park much so im leaning towards the recommended point but the last time i did that i regret it. I do a decent amount of switch skiing.

Also i can just throw on a pair of attacks for free. I’ve never used tyrolias only marker and look. But I haven’t heard great stuff about attacks from a few people I know. any insight on the bindings or should i just throw some griffons on and call it a day. attack 14s would be around 90$ griffons probably around 120$ and i have a pair of used attack 11s i can just chuck on for free. ps i work at a ski shop that’s how i got the deals.

side note, Im east coast never get good snow. Never gonna have to deal w powder.

attacks are a great binding, better than the griffons for sure. especially if your getting them at a better deal. the afd plate needs to be properly set for your boot otherwise you’ll be releasing left n right.

mount +1/+1.5 forward of recommended mount if your not that used to a further back mount point

-2 true center is what I found to be the sweet spot.

my bad only just realised you have the 11s. the 11 din is a more recreational binding aimed at intermediate skiers/kids. compared to the attack 13/14/16 and 17 it has a lower build quality and a higher stack height. for $90 you cant go wrong with the 14s.
