Let’s get the hype rolling! New ski designs from Volkl and line so far that I’ve seen. Yes as discussed in the old 24/25 thread there is a brand new boot entering the market from armada! It’s unlike anything else that’s out there. Exciting times in the industry for sure!
Haven’t seen any photos yet. Only real reference to it I’ve seen is here. Mansner isn’t revealing much, but for a while he’s been posting about opening up Redster performance to folks intimidated by the racing heritage. Atomic did also just trademark “Remedy” as a name for ski boots here. If I had to guess (with no inside info, I’m completely guessing):
- “Atomic Remedy”
- gripwalk or alpine soles with pin toes for touring but no pin heels. No walk mode
- double boa
- last based on Redster CS but with a bit more space, something between a CS and a Hawx Ultra
- shockstopper boot board comes stock
- Craig Murray becomes the de facto spokesperson for it

I am thoroughly impressed with your level of sleuthing (trademark search is really clever). Pretty accurate, but there are 2 things wrong with the above.

I would guess name is wrong seeing as remedy was used for one of our female skis already :)
And alpine soles as those are not possible with the tech toe due to the outdated standard.
Tom is correct, K2 has been making the Remedy for years now. It's an SMU for Europe at this point but we did just make new Remedy graphics for 2025. 119, 129, 139 and 149s for anyone out there who wants to hook their little sister up with some fresh skis.
@tomPietrowski - Are you Drake or Emilia Clarke / Daenerys Targaryen in this mashup? I am guessing Emilia because you're both English and she likes dragons which is kinda heavy metal and you also like heavy metal. Then again, Drake is Canadian and your time in Canada may sway you otherwise. Personally, I'd choose Emilia over Drake :)

this was honestly the first thing I was thinking too. And I think unfortunately (fortunately?) I would have to be Emillia of the two. I’ll take the dragon/metal connection though!

From what I know the boot will be announced but nothing will be available for general public purchase till the fall, don’t quote me on that but from everything I know about it that’s the plan.

I heard about some retailers getting some pairs in early January, but we’ll see soon.
it has atomic bootboard, so im expecting the last to essentially be like hawx prime. Kinda large, and abducted foot stance so intermediates can turn easy.

I’ve owned every WW116 that’s ever been created and yes I’ve got this years and nothings changed from years past just graphics. It’s hands down the great ski ive ever owned. Like truly if I had to ski one ski for the rest of my life it’s the WW116 everyday and twice on sundays. No matter what terrain you throw it into it’s just a fun time with the exception of icy groomers but most skis suck on that anyway

how about flex? I have had arv 116 in the past and found them pretty soft in tip and tail.

when I was at faction we had minor things like that happen, but nothing was funnier than Candide dropping Ski The World and it just completely crashed our server… simpler times… :)
