Let’s get the hype rolling! New ski designs from Volkl and line so far that I’ve seen. Yes as discussed in the old 24/25 thread there is a brand new boot entering the market from armada! It’s unlike anything else that’s out there. Exciting times in the industry for sure!
Kbob94saw this in another thread, figured I’d add it here. I’m hyped for the double boa program, so far from a boot fitters perspective the boa has worked exceptionally well for the people who’s fit them.
will there be an LV veloce?

Brule.Wouldn’t be surprised if the Salomon comp athletes are still on a NFX. Unfortunately I’ve never seen the newer NFX’s for sale in North America…yet.
Last I remember Salomon was still making pro pipes with an nfx top sheet for bowman lol.
would be cool if bowman got a pro model though he deserves it
ZenyattaKickI hope not, unless it’s to go with the 98mm ski as well, not many wide park skis on the market, we have enough 90mm skis tho
only a new zero ski, the new boot and all new kids skis next year from armada, obviously graphics update but that’s the new from armada for next season
powpatrolfinger crossed for a couple more shots of the armada boot before it drops 🤞🤞.
@tomPietrowski ‘cortex’ boot will be cool to get into and see how the low volume fits into rest of k2 lineup
My local K2 rep swung into the shop I work at earlier today with a sample Cortex boot and all I have to say after sliding my foot in one is I’m so fucking stoked for these to come out. Really pleased with the design and overall fit of the boot.

Stoked you like what we did with them! We did not just want to make the same old LV boot so I hope people will like that we tried to push things a bit

So is the armada boot 3-piece? And what makes it unique?
BallClapperCan't find it anywhere on the interwebs, probably because it was an employee/ dealer leak and big corps don't like that. Or a mod got paid off.

I found it right away. Just google k2 cortex. Comes right up. Just don’t want to post it again if it’s not supposed to be live yet.

It’s got a pretty similar heel shape to the atomic redster cs and then we went for a slightly narrower forefoot and toe box more similar to something like the Dalbello drs
Already bought a boot but this sounds like it could have been perfect.

I saw that the stated last on a 26.5 for it is going to be 94-97mm. does it fall in the middle like with the recon or more to the 97mm side? boot sounds lit

3 piece cabrio design. All about heel hold, they have a pretty cool cable system to better lock the heel in. Tricky to explain, but I have a super LV foot, and the boot is defintely MV, but the heel did not feel sloppy, just had a lot of room for me, but I could not move it around at all. The tongue seemed it could be a bit different when compared to dalbello/FT but I didn't look at it too hard

The 26.5 is 96-98mm and it’s on the low side for the heel and ankle and then more towards the 97-98 in the forefoot.
