Anyone ski Prior or Fatypus?

I have the Fatypus 188cm athlete stiffness M5, which has a similar profile to the D-Vice. It's one of my favorite skis. They ski surprisingly short too which feels good in trees. If you ski a lot of chop or fast, the athlete stiffness is probably what you want. It's stiff underfoot but soft tips and tails.

damn i don't know how I missed that. When I went through their website I thought the D-vice was the only one with a super short radius

I wasn’t a fan of the D-vice sizing, but a 15m 188cm ski is pretty much exactly what I’m after. Gonna hold out for a bit to learn more about the priors but the M5s are going on the short list for sure. Thanks for the rec!

Duh, slipped my mind.

I've been riding fatypus for a while now. They definitely ski short and are pretty soft across the board which is a fun combo for East coast trees. I'd say if you are looking for something stiff then go athlete stiffness for sure. Can't go wrong with the m5 or d vice really. Pretty much same construction and shape just wider platform depending on what you'll be getting into, but honestly 4mm wider is a marginal difference. I haven't been on the d vice but I took the 5s out in about a foot of fresh last season and they absolutely slayed. I say fatypus all the way, and they'll get mad respect from anyone in the know. FitzRoyLooking at getting a wider ski to join my jeffrey 96’s. Currently liking the idea of a short sidecut (turning is fun) combined w being stiff/heavy (for going fast). Gonna be at mammoth primarily, with some japan trips planned. Narrowed down the selection to:
Prior CBC
Fatypus D-Vice
QST Blank

Any of you have experience with the first 2? I demoed the blanks last year and enjoyed them but thinking it would be nice to get a bit more of a twin.
