You have to consider that countriesike France that were once occupied by Nazis still have very clear opinions about who was right and who was wrong in WW2. In this country MAGA is so dumb illiterate and racist they’ve literally never heard of WW2, so when the Nazis come along they are like hey this white power stuff sounds pretty good to me!

It probably has more to do with the us not having any sort of hate speech laws, coupled with a vast amount of disinformation available to anyone with an internet connection.
Look at holocaust denial as an example, total horseshit, but the way it's designed to manipulate the consumer makes it effective, even among the well educated.
Without any laws in place to discredit or remove this "information", or prevent those with ill intentions from producing such content how can one even fight it?
The fact that there are people who are not American and not “the democrats who are just being hyperbolic because orange man bad” who are straight up shouting from the rooftops that what Trump is doing is fascist and that they see America a fascist country now, and they’re lumping him in with Russia, should be a powerful message, period. The only thing that I was suggesting was a proper cause the to rise in radicals in north america (as there is bleed over). I'm not saying something should be done, simply that this stuff is studied and there are actual answers to these questions if people look. You don't have to like the answers, but they are there.

Man, the proliferation of racism or perhaps the feeling that one can now be openly racist without consequences (might even become idolized) is disturbing. It's up to the provinces for the most part. Like if Canada is really serious about about hitting back at the US, we'd put an export tax on oil like Ontario has done for power. But the Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has been super hesitant to do that for understandable reasons. Oil is one of Canada's biggest export to the US, so much so that if you remove oil from the equation the US has a trade surplus with Canada. Any action on oil would have a big impact in the Alberta economy. But it would also cause American gas prices to skyrocket which would hopefully send a strong message to the one guy causing all these problems
